Los Gatos Lions Club is made up from a wonderfully diverse group of people who love to work and play together while doing projects that help and support the community and a large number of local charities. We serve.

The Los Gatos Lions raise about $160,000 annually to give back to the community and to Lions sponsored and International programs.  The groups and charities the Lions support include:

  • The Santa Clara Valley Blind Center
  • The Lions Eye foundation and eye glass collections
  • Ear of the Lion
  • Annual LGHS scholarships to graduating seniors
  • Diabetes Society and "Kids For Camp"
  • Boy Scout Troop 539
  • Canine For Companions
  • Senior citizen programs
  • Individual requests for special needs
  • Los Gatos High School sports and educational needs
  • Reality Check - LGHS student produced publication
  • Los Gatos Athletic Association
  • Los Gatos Theatre Improvement Project
  • The Los Gatos Public Library
  • Civic improvement projects
  • Student speakers program
  • Los Gatos Lions Foundation
  • The Venue and Los Gatos Youth Park
  • Billy Jones Railroad
  • Lions Club International Foundation
  • Lions Causes for Kids, supporting programs in local schools for mental wellness, involving suicide prevention, bullying, counseling, Peer to Peer training, and CASSY.

The pride and Joy of Los Gatos!

The Los Gatos Lions are a proud co-sponsor of the annual Los Gatos Children's Christmas/ Holidays Parade. The parade is sponsored together with the Los Gatos/Saratoga Recreation Department, the Los Gatos Christmas Foundation and in co-operation with the Town of Los Gatos and Los Gatos high School.

This event attracts thousands of visitors and participants with over 280 entries. Each year a Grand Marshal is selected and honored at the parade. Notification will be sent out in September for registration entries.
